  • 5 red savina peppers with seeds for extra heat
  • 2 ripe peaches
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp bourbon
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Char peaches on the grill for smokiness.
  2. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes to reduce and intensify flavors.
  4. Bottle in sterilized containers.

Notes

  • Refrigerate after bottling.
  • The alcohol content helps preserve but doesn’t make it shelf-stable.
  • Best used within 1 month for optimal flavor.
  • Shake well before each use as natural separation may occur.
  • Can be frozen in ice cube trays then transferred to freezer bags for up to 6 months.
