Teresa’s “Ingrediences” Inferno Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 death spiral peppers handle with gloves!
  • 2 tbsp Italian red wine
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds toasted and ground
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Roast peppers and garlic until slightly charred.
  2. Toast and grind fennel seeds.
  3. Blend all ingredients until smooth.
  4. Age for two weeks in the refrigerator.
  5. Use very sparingly!

Notes

  • Refrigerate in containers with secure lids.
  • The oil will separate naturally. Shake well before using.
  • The heat intensifies during storage.
  • Will keep for up to 4 months refrigerated.
  • Freeze in small portions for up to 8 months.
  • Label clearly with warnings about extreme heat.
  • Avoid eyes and wash hands after handling.
